I’m a mathematician from Melbourne. I work at the School of Mathematical Sciences at Monash University.

I’ve done degrees in science and law at the University of Melbourne, as well as a Diploma in Modern Languages.

My Masters degree in mathematics was supervised by Craig Hodgson at Melbourne. I did my Ph.D. in mathematics at Stanford University under Yasha Eliashberg and Steven Kerckhoff.

I’ve worked at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques Jean Leray, in the mathematics department at the Université de Nantes, France, and the mathematics department at Boston College.

I’ve also worked in IT, helped at a whistleblowing website, and am a fully qualified but non-practising Australian lawyer.
