I'm a mathematician from Melbourne --- worked overseas for several years, now back home and lecturing in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Monash University.

I've completed degrees in science, majoring in mathematics and statistics, and law, at the University of Melbourne, as well as a Diploma in Modern Languages.

I did my Masters degree in mathematics under Craig Hodgson at Melbourne. I did my Ph.D. in mathematics at Stanford University under Yasha Eliashberg and Steven Kerckhoff.

From 2009-10 I was a postdoc in the Laboratoire de Mathématiques Jean Leray, in the mathematics department at the Université de Nantes, France. From 2010-12 I was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the mathematics department at Boston College.

I've also worked in IT, helped in the founding of a whistleblowing website and am a fully qualified (but non-practising) Australian lawyer.

My CV is available. The current version is from July 2017.
